Apple has raised the price of its Apple TV streaming subscription in the United States, adding another monthly cost increase for households already managing multiple digital subscriptions.
Apple’s U.S. Apple TV page now lists the service at $14.99 per month after a seven-day free trial. Public pricing reports say the monthly plan increased from $12.99 to $14.99, while the annual plan increased from $99 to $119.
The price change took effect for new subscribers on August 28, 2026. Existing subscribers are expected to receive notice before the higher price is applied to their next billing cycle.
Apple One Individual Plan Also Increases
The price increase also affects Apple’s bundled subscription plan.
Public reports say the Apple One Individual plan increased from $19.95 to $21.95 per month. Apple One bundles multiple Apple services, including Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade and iCloud storage.
Other Apple One plans, including Family and Premier, were not part of this latest reported increase, though some Apple subscription bundles had already seen earlier price changes.
Streaming Costs Continue to Rise
Apple’s move follows a broader trend across the streaming industry, where subscription prices have steadily increased as companies spend more on original programming, sports rights and bundled services.
For families, the change may seem small on its own, but multiple streaming subscriptions can quickly add up. A $2 monthly increase equals $24 more per year for the Apple TV monthly plan, while the annual plan is now $20 higher.
What Subscribers Should Do
Current subscribers should check their Apple account subscription settings to confirm their renewal date and pricing.
Apple users can review or cancel subscriptions through:
iPhone or iPad Settings
Apple Account subscriptions page
The App Store subscription section
Apple TV app account settings
Families who use several Apple services may also want to compare whether an Apple One bundle is still more cost-effective than paying for each subscription separately.
Consumer Impact
The increase comes as more households are reviewing recurring costs for streaming, cloud storage, music, news, gaming and other digital services.
For Arizona families and students, the practical takeaway is simple: review active subscriptions regularly, cancel services that are not being used and compare monthly versus annual pricing when available.
